India International Coffee Festival (IICF) Bengaluru Prelims
After the conclusion of the Mumbai prelims, the India International Coffee Festival (IICF) 2026 is coming to the city for the Bengaluru prelims. Organised by the Speciality Coffee Association of India (SCAI) with support from the Coffee Board of India, this will be the Bengaluru regional qualifiers. Across three days, baristas across the southern region will compete in the preliminary stages of two of India’s flagship national coffee competitions: the National Barista Championship, highlighting espresso skills, milk beverages, and signature creations; and the National Brewers’ Cup, focused on meticulous manual brewing. Scores from these Bengaluru prelims, along with those from Mumbai and Delhi, will determine regional winners who will advance to the National Finals in Bangalore.

The Long and Short of Haiku, An Intensive Haiku Workshop With Kala Ramesh At Atta Galatta
Wanted to always learn the art of Haiku? You can now, thanks to the two-day masterclass by Kala Ramesh, who will guide participants through the beauty, rules, and craft of this unique form of poetry. It’ll be an interactive session encouraging each participant to become more involved. Like all Japanese art forms, haiku is full of rules – though we don’t call them that! The art of writing haiku will be gradually introduced. The ‘kire’ or ‘cut’, which is so important to haiku, will be taught. Certain key Japanese aesthetics will also be introduced. Homework will be assigned on Day 1, and on Day 2, the haiku assigned as homework will be discussed. The class progresses into an in-depth study of the masters, both old and new. A brief introduction to haibun (prose embedded with haiku), tanka (a 1300-year-old lyrical poem), and haiku (artwork with haiku) will be provided.

India Cocktail Week | Bengaluru 2025
India Cocktail Week ICW is back with its sixth edition for two days of endless cocktails and non-stop music. Expect brands such as Absolut, Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire, Camikara Rum, Chambal Gin, Pistola, Roku Gin, Toki Suntory Whisky, and Zoya Gin to be part of this event. There will be guest shifts from Asia's Top 50 Bars, along with mixology workshops and masterclasses.
