A global fitness chain, F45 knows just how to get you fit. That too in a functional way, so you can really make exercise a way of life. And now you can try their eight-week Challenge to get your 2018 goals started.

All You Need In 45 Minutes

A workout that was created by in Australia, F45 is all about keeping it functional. In fact, their core values are motivation, innovation and results. And the two branches in Bangalore — Koramangala and Indiranagar are no different. Of course, this means you won’t just be lazing around at the back of a group class, but seriously working on sculpting your body, and even strengthening your mind. It was a crazy trend back in 2016, and it’s not died out yet. Essentially a 45-minute workout, which is based on High Intensity Interval Training {HIIT}. Come on, if you want to get those abs like Hugh Jackman or those sexy legs like Nicole Richie, then you’ve got to work that body! And the best part, they change everyday, so you won’t get bored of the same routine. Inspired by kickboxing, resistance training, flexibility, core stability and more, rest assured you’ll get a proper 360-degree workout here.

High Intensity

We have tried this workout a few times, and we can say it is tough. But keep at it and you’ll really be fighting fit. What we particularly like is that it’s functional training so you’re not dependant on machines, and should you be unable to hit the training centre, hit the streets {or your terrace}, and do your own session! From skips, squats and sprints and burpees, weight lifting and plyometric-based exercises, they pack it all into 45 minutes. Since it’s a HIIT format, you’ll work out for 45 seconds, and then have an active rest period before kicking it off again. It is so very good for the heart. Not so good at all for the ego, initially at least!

But to make this better, each workout has some interesting and motivating names like Wingman {to be done in pairs}, Athletica Flamingo for better agility, Romans for resistence, Trailblazer for running and a personal favourite, Hollywood which is circuit training for strength, core stability and cardiovascular endurance.

Up For A Challenge?

If you’ve been procrastinating with fitness goals all these years, F45 is making it easier with an eight-week challenge starting January 29 until March 28. This will include workouts for each of those days, and meal plans with recipes to make sure you’re eating all the right things. Think avocado and ham toasties, tuna on brown rice, lemon grilled chicken, pesto chicken sandwiches and even cheat day pizza. Challenge accepted? Sign up here.
