Fat Owl: I have recently seen the trend of bringing in a lot of greenery inside the pubs or restaurants. FatOwl located in JP Nagar is one such place newly added to the list. It is built around a tree and spread across three floors with nice interiors. The place gets ample natural light and has amazing outdoor vibes. I was here for an LBB Insider Meet, and I could not be any happier with the services and the courteous staffs.
They have a widespread menu to choose from, whether you're a vegetarian or a meat-lover, this place has an answer for all your cravings. Where vegetarians can choose paneer, mushrooms, green vegetables as starters dishes, known vegetarians have fish, chicken, bacon, pork, beef and chicken items on the menu.
What I absolutely loved was their CheeseChilli Parcels, Baked Portobello Parcels and Chicken Tikka Spring Rolls.
For the main course, my favourite has to be Thai Green Curry, the aroma was so good when it arrived on our table that nobody could resist and the plate was empty within seconds. Well well, I ain't only going to talk about food because its a GastroPub, so they also have ample options from cocktails and mocktails to choose from. If you're here, do try their Coffee and Rum cocktail, trust me, you would not want to have your coffee served any other way after you try this. For all the non- alcoholic peeps, you can try Litchi Peachy, Sweet Sensation and Tropical Spice from the menu.
I couldn't finish without writing about the drool-worthy desserts I had. Apart from the fact that they were so picturesque, they tasted nothing less than heaven. Velvet Roll was best-loved considering the way it was served with their homemade icecream - Belgium Dark Chocolate.
To wrap it up, I had a great great time, and if you're in JP Nagar you should certainly visit this place. It's a good option to gather for a reunion with your gang or a dinner date with your bae.
