The Fatty Bao: Visited this place a couple of days back. The ambience is simple yet pleasing. They have limited seating so recommend calling in advance to make a reservation.
Food more than makes up for the simple ambience. Tried the following items:
1. Cran cooler - Refreshing beverage
2. Spicy Mushrooms, Iceberg Lettuce & Tanuki Sushi Rolls - Brilliant. I was super impressed by the subtle flavours and the way it blends together. Must try
3. Edamame, Chili, Garlic & Tofu Dimsum - I haven't had a better dim sum in ages. The almost translucent outer covering was perfect. The filling was delectable. Loved the sauces served with it too
4. Fatty Lotus Root - Nice mix of sweet and chilli. I love the use of peanut butter in this dish. The chilli sauce was added in the right measures too. Overall, a great eat.
5. Vegetables & Garlic Noodles - Loved this, the noodles were relatively thin and lightly spiced. It was so tasty that didn't even need gravy to go with it
