Lehenga, Honeymoon Bikini Or Sexy Lingerie: This Iconic Store On Comm Street Is Shaadi Bae

Shortcut

M Fazal & Sons on Commercial Street now offers a wide range of ethnic wear, but has always been Bangalore’s go-to for lingerie and sleepwear.

What Makes It Awesome

Once you’ve decided to head to Fazal & Sons, you’ll find that they have, not one, but four different labels – Juliet, Ghunghat, Mona Lisa and Dress Point. Mona Lisa and Dress Point are pretty much the same thing, they both offer Indian party-wear, casual wear and office wear like kurtas and cotton sarees. Everything is designed by their in-house designers and they also have Kancheepuram, Tussar, crepe, chiffon and handloom sarees. Phew! That’s a long list.

Fazals Ghunghat, on the other hand, specialises in bridal wear with everything from lehengas and anarkalis to sarees for the whole bridal party. We found some gorgeous lehengas in typical bridal colours like reds and maroons but also some richly embroidered gold and rose-gold pieces. We’re currently crushing on their Banarasi silk lehengas and georgette dupattas with antique zari work. Can someone get married already?

If you learned any form of western dance in the early 2000s, you already know that Fazals Juliet was the place to go for liner and invisible socks, stockings, sports bras and bodysuits. We went back and it’s still the same, but with way more stuff. Fazals Juliet is now a one-stop shop for all your lingerie needs. Get your hands on different brands of innerwear, some really pretty lace socks and even solid coloured tank tops.

Pro-Tip

We may have also bought some silicone bra petals for those backless dresses. And it’s also great if you’re hoping to impress on a honeymoon, with negligees for the night and cool bikinis for the day.
