New In The Hood
Folks in and around Marathahalli: Been lamenting the lack of restaurants in your hood? Flechazo {which means "love at first sight" in Spanish} might save you. All set to open next week, the buffet-only restaurant brings together two of our favourite cuisines — Mediterranean and Asian, calling itself Bangalore's first 'MediterrAsia' restaurant.
With a counter dedicated to cold 'food shots', featuring everything from chaat and dimsum to sushi and tapas, there's enough to get you started off, we hear. Apart from seafood delights and other mains, thin crust pizzas, Manakeesh {traditional Lebanese bread} and freshly baked breads make an appearance at the section, The Big O. We'll also be looking forward to liquid nitrogen ice creams at the Smoking Cold section.
