We travelled all the way to Whitefield to try out Punjab beat. Punjab beat has launched a new thali called the Patiala thali & we badly wanted to try this. The place is good. The Ambience is good with some nice wall art and a Punjab decor. The place has AC and has parking space too.
We ordered a Buttermilk and then the thali. The buttermilk was really good in that afternoon heat. So flavourful. Then we tried the thali. The thali had a starter platter with which came along the Malai paneer, pakode, kebabs and some salads. The malai paneer didn't have much flavour in it. The kebabs were really good. Then came the main course. This had a lot of gravys in it but only two rotis. This will be sufficient for a normal person but for bakasura, we wanted three atleast.
The sides were really good, the Dal was exceptionally good. The fried rice was a little hard but the flavour was great. Dahi balla and the Jamoon was fantastic.
