What Makes It Awesome?

Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani it is - A perfect Biryani indulgence

A bit of history - since 1957 (founded by Mr Nagasamy Naidu in Dindigul a small town in Tamilnadu) he has ensured
the quality and taste are maintained well and has passed on the secret style of cooking this unique biryani with
utmost care that focused mainly on high quality and consistent taste.

Different preparation styles using Seeraga samba rice enhances the aroma and taste of this Biryani. They follow a unique style in preparing this delectable biryani with hand-ground masalas ensuring the taste
remains the same for decades. As of now, they are spreading their operations across 7 countries India, USA, France, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Srilanka.

During this chaotic situation, they ensure they wholeheartedly follow all safety norms. Would speak a bit about the safety norms they followed when I ordered food.

1.) Food delivered following safety norms (delivery staff was wearing masks and hand gloves)
2.) A small packet of hand sanitizer attached to the delivery pack - this is their USP which they had taken care of
even minute safety norms
3.) The food packet has details of all temperature's mentioned - Chef while preparing food, Staff who packed food,
The person who delivered the food.
4.) Biryani packed in high-quality cardboard containers (did not use plastic for packing)

Food: Authentic and native style of cooking paired with utmost deliciousness

What I ordered and loved the most.

* Mutton Biryani - (Dindigul thalappakatti style) Mutton pieces cooked along with seeraga samba rice (short grain rice) is a delight and this one is not too spicy nor too mild. The apt usage of spices like cardamom, mace, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, green chillies, garlic makes this quite different from the regular lot.
I loved every morsel of it. A must try and a sure shot recco.

* Mutton sukka - Boneless mutton chunks cooked in rustic spices with a strong hint of pepper and topped with curry leaves
its a sheer delight

* Chicken varuval - Medium size chunks of chicken cooked well with a strong hint of spices but is treat to one's taste buds.A perfect burst of flavours which is evident from the usage of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin, coriander seeds and red chillies.

My say - If you are in search of a good Tamilnadu style fare in Bangalore without a second thought do head to
Dindigul Thalappakatti Biryani house and relish their fare or order online via Zomato at the comfort of your home.

To summarize it, prices are nominal and are true value for money, the portions are apt for one person. Will be back soon to dine in and relish their other offerings.

And would like to thank team Dindigul Thalapakatti biryani team - to make my Sunday dinner a delight. It's a rollercoaster ride for my taste buds which were happily relishing their fare.
