Make the most of whatever is left of winter in the city by heading over to this fondue festival. Take your pick from the classic Traditional Swiss, with Gruyere, Swiss cheese, white wine, fresh lemon or fruit brandy, perked up with a pinch of nutmeg, or dip marshmallows or fruits into a Chocolate Baileys fondue. The Cracked Nut Ashen combines white chocolate, roasted nuts, ganache and fruits, while the Stewed Fondue offers flavours such as garlic, sweet paprika Gruyere and Gouda. The Blue Brie is a heavy duty coming together of cheeses such as Gorgonzola, Brie and Gruyere, and for a taste of Europe, do try the Countryside Green with its spinach, home ground mustard, Monterey Jack, Brie and Cheddar combination, all packed into one bubbling pot.
