Shortcut

A food corner with all our favourite bites, Eggstacy on New BEL Road has stalls that serve momos, chaat, parathas, grills and Indo-Chinese eats for us to gorge on.

Food Hood

New BEL Road is always buzzing with activity {maybe we have to thank the MS Ramaiah college students for that} and any area that has many college students around guarantees one thing – yummy food at great prices.  New BEL has its own version of Koramangala’s Eat Street but on a much smaller {but no less yummier} scale. While walking down the Main Road, we spotted Eggstacy — a kind of food court featuring around four different food stalls — Chaat Street, Nawab Rolls, Social Eatery and Paratha Express.

Chaat Street serves up all of your favourite chaats like bhel puri, pav bhaji and papdi chaat from their chaat station, starting at just INR 25 and at Nawab Rolls you can load up on kathi rolls for under INR 100. If you want to eat something a lot more filling and meaty, hit up Social Eatery to tuck into biryani and grills. Paratha Express doles out hot stuffed parathas and has great combo meals too. Eggstacy has its own menu too, full of Chindian classics like chicken lollypop, gobi Manchurian, noodles and fried rice that you can order at the coupon counter, which is where you buy your food coupons for all the stalls.

Good Vibes Only

The cosy setup, complete with bright yellow walls, colourful chairs and tables is a nice place to unwind with your buddies. With a refrigerator stocked with our favourite sodas and drinks, there’s plenty to wash it all down with too. The colourful potted plants fixed on the walls only add to the cheerful atmosphere and it’s right on the main road, not far away from all the action. A perfect pitstop to refuel and take a quick food break, we’re hitting up Eggstacy anytime we’re in the mood for a mini food fest.
