Joining the ever expanding bandwagon of food trucks, EAT, stationed at the Galaxy Mall on Residency Road, will hook you up with all sorts of comfort food be it biryani, vada paos, grilled chicken or good old momos.

Eat. Enjoy. Repeat.

You can’t get enough of food trucks, can you? Nor us. Which is why we were rather pleased to see a bright red, truck parked outside the Galaxy Mall on Residency Road. We don’t say no to exploring food, so naturally, we meandered in to check out their offerings.

Part of the same group that owns Sing Kong and Sanchez, chef Vikas Seth has picked off some interesting International and local dishes and tweaked them to suit the street food format. After all, it needs to be made and sold out of a truck! It’s also cool what they’ve done with the menu. There’s an AM and a PM one — the former kicks off at 11.30am and the latter at 3.30pm. This means you can eat momos, biryani or Asian meals {Hakka noodles or rice with Hunan chicken or chilli basil paneer} at any time.

Meals Made Easy

Those counting calories, pick grilled chicken or veggies to be had with millets or red rice. This will be topped by black-eyed beans, sweet potato, salsa, non-dairy sour cream and popped amaranth. See, healthy eating can be cool too!

Post 3.30pm, think Middle Eastern stuff that ranges from shawarma and salads to hummus with pita and refreshing kala khatta. Oh, and dessert though minimal is delicious — dark chocolate gateaux. They also have a WeWork Hearty Meal which comprises momos, biryani, raita, papad, a dessert and drink for just INR 280 for the vegetarian version, and INR 300 for the meat option.
