Ice Cream Pizzas To Khao Suey: Four Food Trucks In Koramangala That Are Driving Us Nuts

The information in this post might be outdated

Burgers and pizzas to waffles and French food, the city has its fair share of food trucks to spoil you for choice. While Indiranagar and tech parks may be the popular hotspots for these trucks, the buzzing hood of Koramangala has quite a few that you can head to. Apart from the ones that make way to the area every once in a while, we picked out five trucks {including an all-new one!} offering quite a selection ranging from meaty subs to ice cream pizzas.

Two To Tango

In the hood and looking for a quick bite? Look no further than Two To Tango. While their menu lists out burgers, sandwiches, subs and pizzas, what sets the year-old food truck apart is their interesting East meets West twist to dishes. Along with their Classic Veg Burger, there’s Paneer Tikka Burger and Hariyali Chicken Burger to chomp on. Or Spicy Peri Peri Chicken Pizza and Chicken Tikka Sandwich, if you’re still craving for more. While you’re at it, try some of their summery mocktails like Green Apple and Sparkling Peach.

Road Kill

With its orange and black truck and the constant queue of hungry customers around it, Road Kill is hard to miss. Roast Beef subs, Cheesy Potato Pops, Khao Suey, Chicken Wings — you name it and these guys will have it. Craving for something porky? Try their Pork-er Face {pulled pork sub} or Pork Sausage Fest {pepper pork sausages on skewers}. Vegetarians, you only have a few options, because Road Kill is partial to carnivores.

Go Waffles

They claim to be Bangalore’s first Belgian waffle truck. And we are sold with this truck dedicated solely to waffles. After all, what’s not to love about freshly-made waffles that come with rich, indulgent toppings? Apart from the simple Maple ‘n Waffle {topped with maple syrup, cream, nuts and icing sugar}, their Caramel crunch — waffle topped with home style caramel, and a squirt of cream and icing sugar, and Choco-land {loaded with Belgian chocolate, scoops of vanilla ice cream and icing sugar} make for more filling options.

Cafe Sunny's Gastro Truck

The newest truck to arrive in the hood, look out for Cafe Sunny’s Gastro truck post-Diwali. Serving Bengali fare {think snacks and quick meal options}, their menu lists out dishes like Fish Kabiraji {a kind of fish fry} and Chicken Mughlai along with the more filling Luchi Alu Dom. Want to grab a quick bite for lunch? Oh yes, they’ll be among the few trucks to open in time for lunch. They also offer Kolkata-style rolls with different fillings. With more specials to be added, we’re keeping our eyes out for this one.
