Fresh Pressery Cafe in Koramangala has had a complete overhaul and is now a really cute cafe space {al fresco seating included}. Plus, their new menu additions include lovely smoothies, salads, grills and yes guilt-free desserts!

Cafe Scenes

When we had visited the cafe last in May, the Fresh Pressery cafe was in a transitional space, it was more of a delivery and kitchen sort of a place. But we are happy to report that they have listened to us and after four months of hard work, they are back with a new charming cafe. The doors and windows are done in green paint, there are long benches and tables to sit out, and even a cute al fresco space with umbrellas and garden furniture. The walls are done with bricks, there are colourful empty photo frames on the walls and mirrors. There is a dessert bay and beyond that a kitchen. You can even shop for Fresh Pressery’s selection of coconut sugar, activated charcoal, freshly-made granola and cookies {peanut butter, oats, and more}.

Smoothies To Keto

We have always loved the fact that Fresh Pressery doesn’t believe in doing healthy minus the flavour. Their food actually tastes great while being healthy and uses quality ingredients too. We started off first with a big smoothie called the Choco Loco. The smoothie was made up of coconut milk, skimmed milk, avocados, dark chocolate and honey, and was absolutely lovely to sip on. Then up next was the High Fibre Fenugreek Salad, a mix of quinoa, carrots, sprouts, fresh methi leaves, and topped with crunchy peanuts. We tossed the power packed salad with a spicy and sweet, peanut, dressing. The methi leaves tasted lovely and not bitter {how did they manage that?} at all, while the sweet dressing perked up the salad itself.

We then moved on to a whole wheat pasta done aglio olio style with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and other veggies. This is for those who love carbs, but at least can make a choice of healthier carbs. They have also introduced a Keto menu, of which we tried the Pan-Seared Salmon with grilled mushrooms and a creamy sauce {this one is rich and calorie laden}. You can also opt for a non-Keto option with spaghetti and grilled vegetables, minus the cream sauce. The salmon was done just right, and the creamy sauce flavoured with dill was a winner for us.

Guilt Free Dessert

By this time we were feeling full, but not queasy, which is a great feeling to have. Then along came the desserts, but healthier versions of regular sweet treats. We have mentioned before that Fresh Pressery does wonderful desserts, and you will be happy to know that they have added gluten-free and sugar-free brownies to the list along with a delicious Banana & Walnut Amaranth flour and honey cake that can be topped with regular Nutella if you want {skip it because the cake is really good by itself}. We also tried a lovely dark chocolate, puffed quinoa, chia seeds, almonds, peanut butter laced healthy dessert bar, which would be great when you have a craving but want to reach out for something reasonably healthy.

Guys, they also do regular dark chocolate sea salt cookies in case you want a cheat day treat.

#LBBTip

Fresh Pressery has some new cold-pressed juices perfect for a cleanse pre-Diwali or even post-festival. Plus, they also have their regular lunch subscription going on where you can order a juice, sandwich and salad.
