Friday Films is organizing film screenings for all you film lovers. Instead of picking out a film to watch from Netflix and chill on your couch, get out and head to National Gallery of Modern Art and watch a couple of great Indian art and artist’s screenings. This will be a different experience, considering the fact that you’ll be surrounded with people who appreciate film, the same way you do! The screenings take place on Fridays only and start at 3pm (May 24, and 31). On the 24th, the films that will be screened are, Future Canvas (1974) by Yash Chaudhari, An Artistic Journey (1975) by A R Sen and Portrait of a Painter (1989) by Debarata Roy. The films to be screened on the 31st are Amrita Sher-Gil; A Family Album (2006) by Navina Sundaram 2006 and Amrita Sher Gil: An Indian Rhapsody (2012) by Patrick Cazals. The films are between 13 and 50 minutes and are in French, Hindi, and English, so check out their schedule if you're particular about what to watch.
