This Rustic Whitefield Retreat Is The Ideal Place For A Relaxing, Budget Staycation

A green escape in Whitefield’s Siddapura, Gaia is a laidback farm that’s perfect for a staycation with the fam. City life got to you? Then, a trip to Gaia is well-warranted, we think. A family-run farm, Gaia is cut off from the hustle-bustle of the city and yet is not too far away from all the comforts of city life (the Forum Neighbourhood Mall, for example, is just 5 kilometres from the property). The farm is home to a couple of cottages and two studio apartments that are great for a quick weekend staycation with your brood. 

The studios are smaller spaces (INR 1,750) and a perfect cosy up spot for couples. And the larger cottages (INR 2,450) can host up to three people. They also come with attached kitchen spaces where you can whip up a weekend feast. For the studios, where kitchen facilities are limited, you can either order up on Swiggy or drive down to the nearby restaurants. All of the spaces are done up with rustic furniture and vibrant decor pieces. And you can spend your time relaxing in open courtyards amidst the birds and the bees.

This is an out-and-out farm stay. Your hosts are friendly and there’s even a cute beagle (Frida) to give you plenty of love and company. But if you are looking for perks like a swimming pool and round-the-clock service, this isn’t the place for you.
