Love Beer? Geist Has Launched An Exclusive New Brew By The Ladies Who Lager

NO IT IS NOT PINK!

Moving on...while plenty might tell you otherwise, beer is enjoyed by women of all ages and backgrounds, especially in Bangalore, the beer capital of India. And if you really want to try something different, then head to Geist to enjoy a beer that has been formulated and brewed by six women who are experts at the craft. Vidya Kubher from Geist, Aishwarya Ritti from Barley & Us (microbrewery consultancy), Kajal Manchanda from By The Peepal, Lynnette Pires from Seven Rivers Brewing Co., Megha Dalimbe from Byg Brewski Brewing Company, Hennur and Varsha Bhat from Mannheim Brews have come together to create The Geist Stratosphere Lager. It will be the first packaged craft beer created (from concept to packaging and marketing too!) entirely by women. The beer itself is a lager brewed with Strata hops, presenting flavour profiles associated with tropical, and stone fruit. And no, the beer isn't just for women - anyone who loves a good lager can enjoy The Geist Stratosphere Lager.

Part of Geist's Ladies Who Lager, an initiative to bring together a collective of women who brew beer, drink craft beer or are interested in celebrating craft beer. It's essentially the coming together of a group of people to create beer that can be loved and had by all! 

The beer was released at the Geist Brewing Factory for Women's Day, as well as at their Orion Taproom. If neither work then you can always head to any pub or restaurant that has Geist on tap.
