Sudesi is a two-year-old brand that sells handmade products created by tribal lambani women working in Sandur taluk, Karnataka, to revive the 'Sandur Lambani Embroidery' and bring it to the life and homes of people outside of Karnataka. The products include sarees, dupattas, stoles, blouses, cushion covers, wall hangings, etc.
Their primary focus is on ethnic women's' wear. The brand believes this segment to be the most energising & encouraging aspect of their business. They love embroidering various handloom fabrics, starting from the 'Ilkal fabric' (handloom from Bagalkot Karnataka) to Tussar silks and 'Khana fabric' (another handloom variety from Karnataka). All the products right from the fabric to the finished item are completely hand made. The sarees are very popular and so are ready to wear blouses. The clientele is spread across the globe.
The price of these products ranges from INR 1,000 to 15,000 depending upon the handwork on each item. You can order the products directly by contacting them through their Instagram and Facebook pages. They don’t have a website or retail presence as of now.
