Ministry of Food, all day dining restaurant at Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks offers global cuisine along with specialities across India.
I visited the Ministry of Food during the ongoing Regional Food Festival, Indi Treasure. It is a 5-day long culinary delight for guests to savour authentic delicacies featuring a wide range of cuisines like Awadhi, Lucknowi, Himachali, Bengali, Punjabi and Rajasthani.
Choicest home-style delicacies are being recreated and served as a part of the regional food festival. One gets to experience a new regional cuisine each day.
Few of my favourites from the regular menu include bite-sized Beetroot cured Salmon on crunchy cucumber, melt-in-the-mouth Bocconcini and tomato skewers, oh! So flavourful Chicken Cheshwar and perfectly prepared Thai Basil Fish.
Day-wise details:
18th Feb - Rajasthani
19th Feb - Bengali
20th Feb - Punjabi
21st Feb - Awadhi
22nd Feb - Himachali
From the regional specialities, I liked Makki ki roti with Sarson ka Saag topped with a cube of butter and crunchy onions. There are plenty of pickles to choose from.
Not to miss the lassi and paan counters. Moong dal halwa is a must try.
If you're looking to enjoy the best of both worlds, Ministry of Food is the place to be!
