It wowed the world when it aired on MasterChef Australia and it's been pleasing the palates of every Mumbaikar and Punekar ever since 2016. In essence, we're talking about the seemingly (or not so) humble Butter Chicken, a dish that is on par with biryani in India, but you have tasted the real deal? In its several watered down versions (either too creamy or too sweet), this crowd favourite is average at best. Which is why Chef Saransh Goila (The Butter Chicken Saviour for many) created a version that is truest to its original counterpart in Goila Butter Chicken. Rather than explain how he does it, we're just going to say that MasterChef Australia judge George Calombaris called it “the best butter chicken in the world."
Now for the real best bit! Goila Butter Chicken has 7 outposts in Mumbai and Pune and one in London too, but it's their launch in Namma Bengaluru that has us most pumped! This cloud kitchen nestled in the heart of Brigade Road will open services from the 16 December 2020 on pre-order basis and from 17 December it will be live on delivery platforms. The menu obviously has the Goila Butter Chicken, together with a vegetarian Goila Butter Paneer, and other classics from their OG menu like the Kalimirch Tikka, Sindhi Mutton Curry, Naan Bombs and much more! We can hardly wait to order in and feast to our heart's content. This was afterall long time coming!
