You may know of Kalakari when you shopped on their web-store for pretty kaftans, kids' pajamas and lounge wear, but we are smitten by the home linen. With the aim of bringing Indian handicrafts to your home, Kalakari has a lovely selection of table runners, napkins and even hand and bath towels for your daily use. Or to make your guests feel extra special!
The brand is focused on hand-block prints, so expect to see lilies, poppies, marigold flowers and my personal favourite - the pink little elephant, on the hand towels. Made from Waffle Cotton, what I like most about these hand towels are that they are not tiny. They're a good foot and a half, on one side, and over two feet on the other, making them really useful for more than one wipe! Plus, being Waffle Cotton, they really easy to wash, and dry.
They also have a mini collection for the mini ladies in the form of adorable pom-pom kaftans. To be paired with jeans, tights or shorts, I think it's a great way to add colour to the kiddy wardrobe.
Prices start at INR 499 for the hand towels and INR 999 for the bath ones. Kaftans are INR 950.
