Swati's approach to clay is pretty straightforward -- the sky's the limit, much like the material's nature. It's one medium that listens to you, she shares, giving you all the freedom to build, shape and go crazy! Besides, you don't need an add-on to make it shine (an extra piece/element), you can simply create the same using just clay. This is exactly why she fell in love with pottery nearly 12 years ago and set up Mud With Love about 5 years back.
Mud With Love celebrates the feel of clay, it's natural texture, and the imperfect bends, creases, even finger marks that come with it. Each piece Swati creates is one-off, unique and can be replicated but never exactly the same. Did we also mention that the Founder is an Architect by profession? Which is why she creates pieces that show off the versatility of ceramics and its application in interiors and exteriors.
She loves dabbling in statement decor pieces like the Owl About You owls. These could add character to a mundane corner or the Ceramic Bookends and abstract trinket dishes could do that too! We love the Strip Of Clay bud-vases that are essentially just a strip of clay moulded in a circle with a test tube. Very chic! Swati also loves her wall installations. She takes customised orders for the same and emphasises on how ceramics is permanent and weather-proof, perfect for wall decor.
Mud With Love also has a limited collection of tableware, again brimming with texture! We love the Fish Chip and Platter with scales and a fin for a bowl. Too cute!
