While sniffing out the latest scoop in the CBD area, we’ve come across this absolute gem. On Primrose Road {the road wedged between the restaurant, Tandoor, and Priya Simran’s}, an old, elegant bungalow is being converted into the new site for Happy Belly Bakes. The charming bakery {the original one is near Richard’s Park} will open its doors to customers on August 16, 2017. And you can stop by for sugary and savoury treats.
Of course, you can expect all the best selling items to make an appearance on the new cafe’s menu. Prepare to fill your tummy with lemon curd and mint cupcakes, Oreo and peanut butter brownies, and the sinful Volcano Tart. These will rub shoulders with buttery quiches, pastas, and salads.
