Started barely a month ago by Neha Gahlaut, a former marketing professional from Mumbai, Happy You Happy Me is a quaint café {although Neha prefers calling it a snack shop} which offers mini-sized dishes that can be had on-the-go.  Some of them in true Bombaiyya-style, we should add. Just like us, she strongly believes food can be one of the best paths to happiness. And the name says it all, doesn’t it?

We started with the Chicken Croquettes, served in eco-friendly plates. The appetising roll of minced chicken fried in fine breadcrumbs had just a hint of spice, all made better with a spicy, and garlic-basil dip. The Non-Veg Mini Burger had a generous filling of chunky chicken pieces with a light layer of barbeque sauce that gave it a spicy, flavourful taste. We noticed interesting options in their menu, such as Chicken Junglee Sandwich and Moroccan Chicken Roll, which were to be introduced soon. They also offer Veg and Non Veg Pasta, if you’re looking for something more filling. While their Berry Merry Ice Tea and Oreo Milkshake sounded tempting, we opted for the cool Lemongrass Lemonade and weren’t disappointed. The Choco Almond Muffin tasted of rich chocolate with bits of ground almonds.

The white and yellow decor with the cute frames and showpieces lend the small cafe a homely feel, just how we like it. It has minimal seating area, owing to the grab-on-the-go concept it is based on.

Perfect for those end-of-the-month times when everyone is a bit low on cash and for its snack shop format.
