What Is It?

Yep! It’s finally here. Now’s your chance to be part of a Harry Potter themed literature program. A month-long workshop spread across nine magical sessions, each class will offer relevant activities and assignments to match. With celebrated fiction writer and self-confessed Potterhead — Anuja Chauhan — as the guest speaker of the programme, explore the universal themes of love, death and mortality from the iconic book series and also delve deeper into the many nuances and specific character developments of this literary classic. We’re waiting on Platform 9¾ already.

Who Is It For?

This one’s for all you Potterheads in town. If you’ve grown up on a steady diet of Harry Potter books and have inspired the writer or literature enthusiast in you, you’ll definitely want to catch this workshop. You’ll even be sorted into your “houses” by the sorting hat on your first day. Let’s find out if you’re Gryffindor material or not.

Why Should I Go For It?

Because we’ve all dreamt of what it would be like to attend Hogwarts and these workshops come pretty close to the real deal. A whole month dedicated to learning Harry Potter! We can’t think of a better way to spend our time. Each session will explore a different theme of the book from why it’s so universally appealing to its feminist perspectives {Hermione Granger for the win!}. The programme will also look at the film series and the fan fiction and fandoms that followed, making this a global phenomenon. So pack your robes, wands and quills and hop aboard the Hogwarts Express.
