Sure, when it comes to choosing between beer and wine, the latter always takes a back seat. But for avid oenophiles who are forever seeking red (or white), there's Haute. It's touted to by city's first and only wine & tapas bar that's devoted to sipping, swilling, and slurping over 200 varieties of wine. The swish space located on 100 Feet Road works for both afternoon lunch with the bosses as well a night out with your date or girls. It's highly Instagrammable too with community-style sofa seating, metallic accents and minimal decor.
On to the tapas menu, there's croquet, umami, buttermilk calamari, bulgogi, and 18-hour slow cooked pork shoulder in wonton sauce. The tapas menu has been curated in such a way that it can be paired well with the wine you are having. You've got a bit of everything from Asian to Italian. If you are going during lunch time, they have a set lunch menu that including dumplings, gazpacho, and a brilliant bibimbap which we polished off happily.
The wine racks by the entrance, which is the retail part of the bar, is filled with all sorts of wine - sauvignon blanc, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, and riesling - so even if you are a noob, the staff is trained to help you out with what wine. These wines are also available for you to order at the restaurant.

If you are going in a group, we recommend you do table reservations and ask for the community sofas by the wine rack or the long tables by the window that overlooks 100 Feet Road.
