What Makes It Awesome?

Led by the Chef and the Host Mrs Rehana Nagaria, The Bohra Thaal team is serving some home-cooked authentic Bohri cuisines most authentically.

The Thaal by Bohra Bohra cafe is a pop up in Koramangala and a community dining experience where the entire family sits down on the floor and eat in the same plate. The Thaal is a huge plate which can accommodate 6-8 people around it.

They warmly welcome the guests by offering a refreshing welcome drink called Gol Pani or Gudh sharbat (which is a sharbat sweetened by jaggery) and then washing hands of all the guests before the starting the meal. Furthermore, the meals are started with a pinch of salt to activate your palate. The Bohri meal consists of alternating sweet and savoury dishes and even a daily meal is a feast by itself.

The dishes consisted of white sauce chicken cutlets, mutton shami kebabs, smoked chicken Samosas with some amazing chutneys, sheer kurma, Anjeer halwa, Sancha Ice creams and last but not the least the glorious mutton Raan. The Raan is an entire leg of a goat, marinated overnight and cooked in a super delicious sauce. The Mutton Raan is cooked to perfection so much so that the meat just falls off the bone as soon as you lift it.

You can experience this whole feast at just ₹1200/- per person, and it's worth every penny. There's also a pure veg Thaal at ₹800/- per person for all you vegetarians out there who wish to experience this!

However, the menu is rotational and they serve on Saturday and Sunday only and you can get all the updates from their Instagram handle @thebohrabohrathaal. Due to limited seatings, you gotta book your slots a week prior by calling/messaging.
