What Makes It Awesome

Off late I was missing some good old Chettinad non-vegetarian food and did not want to order from the usual and already tried places in the city.

Even though the reviews were not that great, I decided to order from South Treat as their interesting menu caught my fancy. I ordered a Chettinad chicken, a couple of porotas, and a chicken biriyani combo with a coin porota.

The food was neatly packed and delivered quickly to my place. The Chettinad chicken had a layer of oil floating on top, which was great. The taste was fabulous, honestly, I didn’t expect it to have such authentic Madurai flavours right here in Bangalore. The porota tasted delicious with the chicken gravy. The coin porota was tiny and yummy, just the way it’s supposed to be.

The biriyani again had bursting Tamil Nadu flavours and I devoured it in an instant. Overall a great meal and I would definitely be ordering from South Treat again.

What Could Be Better?

The Chettinad chicken gravy and the chicken gravy served with the combo were way too similar, even though they were quoted differently on the menu.

Anything Else?

If you love and miss authentic Tamil taste then you've got to try this place.
