Ten-second takeaway

Shop, eat, drink, be merry and go home satisfied for helping out the Ogaan Cancer Foundation at the ELLE Carnival For A Cause. And LBB will give it our full support.

Cause it’s worth it

Year on year, the good folk of Bangalore converge at the Taj West End for the ELLE Carnival For A Cause to chat, shop, have a great time and help out the Ogaan Cancer Foundation and the Women’s Cancer Initiative (TATA Memorial Hospital). This year will be no different! And while you’re helping out, it doesn’t mean you can’t go back with shopping bags completely full. High-street brand and designers also join the bandwagon, selling their merchandise at heavily discounted rates just to kick-start the spirit of giving.

So who’s in?

Oh! You mean apart from you? Well, expect labels like Abraham & Thakore, AM:PM, Sabyasachi, Shantanu & Nikhil, Bodice, Dhruv Kapoor, Eka, Gaurav Gupta, Namrata Joshipura, Pankaj & Nidhi, Rahul  Mishra, and Rajesh Pratap…we can keep going here! Can you imagine getting all of their amazing creations for under INR 5,000 that too guilt free! This time around, there’ll even be a special silent auction featuring exclusive merchandise from the likes of Tod’s Gucci, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, and Hermes. Plus, a special bag donated by Sonam Kapoor.

Wind in the sails

The carnival will also see fun activities like tarot-reading, a kids corner and a live band performance though the revelry. Making it an event to really look forward to and then remember when the donations are done, there’s a theme – Nautical. So flaunt the stripes, bring out the navy blue and bell-bottom trousers and make your way there. It’s time to fight this together, folks. Let’s do this!
