If you love Bollywood and all things associated with it, we're pretty sure you'll love what Hitchki has to offer. The brand's second outpost in the city (the other one is in Whitefield), brings a whole lot of Bollywood glam in all aspects. The decor features golden accents, posters, and cinema paraphernalia with the indoor space featuring lounge and booth seating and an expansive dance floor to shake a leg or two when the DJ is out there playing some trendy Bollywood mixes. The bar by one end of the indoor space is where you can get your Bollywood-esque cocktails. Our drink for the night was a mouthful – Kyonki Irani Bhi Kabhi Tulsi Thi – a gin-basil drink with a twist of pineapple and ginger. Dil Maange Mo're, an aam papad meets aam panna was also ordered from the sober cocktail section.
We got our drinks and sat by the outdoor space and got down to ordering. We picked a Chilli Garlic Pork and Konkani Fried Chicken to go with the drinks. The pork worked well with the gin drink while the fried chicken was definitely something we are ordering another round of. It's got a very Malvani masala kick to it that's very addictive. Agneepath Angeepath Agneepath, a spicy tawa chicken preparation was also ordered because when you say there's something that devil spicy, we order. It definitely packs a punch and we can see how this and beer would be such a good combo. For mains, we picked up Saoji Mutton with some roti because let's face it, after a day at work, there was nothing like a solid curry and bread to end the night. The curry packs a punch and we wipe the plate clean with roti.
With all that heat, the staff figured we needed to try some dessert. The Moong Bhari Sajna was brought to the table. A very Indian dessert through and through with moong dal halwa cigars, rabdi, and shani tukda roll. It's the perfect sweet something to end your night with your friends or colleagues.
