Shortcut

Check in with your S.O {and your pooch} for the weekend and touch base with Kodai’s charming weather and stunning views at this quaint homestay, just off the city centre.

Cosying Up In A Cottage

The two-bedroom cottage is #BaecationGoals for couples looking to check into a private homestay that’s away from the city, but still easily accessible. Exposed stone walls of this tastefully furnished homestay give off rustic vibes while creature comforts in the form of a well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, and the likes make vacation easy. A fireplace in the cane-furnished living room offers the perfect setting to curl up with bae {or even better, your dog!} during the cold Kodai evenings. There’s plenty of space around the place, so your doggo can either curl up on the rug in the living room or with you in the ensuite bedroom for the night.

Patio Time

There’s not much to do within the property apart from taking a walk or just strolling around the mini garden. The living room has a book rack that has cassettes and you could find some gems. But, perhaps it’s the patio that sets the place apart. It doesn’t matter if you are staying in for the day or for a few hours, but make sure to sit on the patio and take in all of the surroundings. Morning tea, catching up on some reading, and of course, Instagramming, all come recommended at the patio. Soak in some of that morning sun while you are at it so that you are set for a day of sightseeing in the town below. Evenings can be spent looking down at the city lights or the sky full of stars. If there’s that drizzle that Kodaikanal often gets, you are in for a treat.

The Kodaikanal Lake, Croakers Walk, and Pillar Rocks are spots that you need to visit on your day outing. Do remember to carry your DSLR for there’s plenty of photo ops.
