One of our favourite ice cream shops in town, Milano, has several outlets in Bangalore, and they are best known for their freshly churned gelato. Their flavours keep changing through the week and include delicious seasonal flavours as well. Plus, you can also get some sorbet too. Oh, and don't miss out on their fruit popsicles as well.

The artisanal ice cream shop scoops out seasonal and classic flavours all through the year, along with a lineup of cakes and bakes. We love that they have chocobars and sundaes when you feel like indulging yourself a bit more. After all, nothing like having a Hot Fudge Sundae on a hot sunny Sunday, right?

Until recently, they were delivering only, but they have opened their first brick-and-mortar store in Indiranagar. They are known for some cool and wacky flavours — we still dream about the Sharjah Shake ice cream. Oh, and don't miss out on the collab flavours that they do often with various brands.

Our favourite hangout when in the centre of the city, Art Of Delight, truly gets it right with their sorbets, sundaes, and ice cream. One mostly goes to them for their sundaes here, but we've been having just scoops of ice cream lately, only cause more to try. It's their Mississippi Mud Pie that we often go back for, along with the Raspberry Cheesecake.

It's their pani puri ice cream that had us sold. Apsara Ice Cream offers a range of flavours including sorbets, popsicles, and kulfi. Their sorbets are vegan and work great for anyone who's looking for a non-dairy option when they want to have a scoop. Their tamarind and pani puri flavours are our favourite in the sorbet section.

While their iconic Death By Chocolate sundae remains the most popular product on their menu, their classic and no-fuss ice cream flavours are what we go for. Plus, there's a whole lot of nostalgia packed in as well. If you ask any Bangalorean worth their scoop, they would tell you of their Corner House ice cream date.

This newest ice cream shop in town has been buzzing on social ever since it opened to a mad crowd. No, really, in the initial few weeks of opening, there were long lines to get... ice cream. The couple of times we dropped by, luckily there wasn't too much crowd and we got ourselves such classic scoops. They do it all — gelato, sundaes, and ice cream. And some interesting flavours too.

One of the old-school ice cream shops in Bangalore, Amrith in Malleswaram, is a family-run ice cream shop that still churns out classic milk ice cream. The small shop has been serving up scoops of classic flavours since 1993, and not much has changed over the years. They make their ice cream fresh daily, and you'll find everyone from their grandparents to school children stopping by for a scoop of ice cream.

If you are a 90s kid who grew up in Bangalore, then this place is nostalgia pro max. Childhood memories range from those ice cream dates with your high school sweetheart or your best friend to special occasion treats. Richie Rich was (and somehow continues to be) the place. The ice cream parlour is basic and dishes out the usual tried-and-tested flavours, and while their menu has evolved to have rolls and chaats, please stick to the ice cream if you're going back for the nostalgia factor. They do have some newer flavours, last we checked — think Tiramisu and well, explore the rest while you are there.
