You might already know that the IKEA India website is live, with home delivery happening in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara. But on Monday, June 14, we discovered that Bangalore is also part of the cities that IKEA is home delivering to. While the official announcements on IKEA India's Instagram and Twitter handle talk about the fact that they will be delivering soon, it didn't stop us from trying and placing orders. And succeeding.
We have spent hours browsing through those gorgeous modular kitchens, children’s bedroom and even those slick drawing rooms that have got us thrilled. The website is neatly divided into sections of the house — from storage units, TV furniture and kitchen products to baby rooms, chairs and decoration. We ended up buying a few kitchen accessories for ourselves.
While due to the fact that literally, everyone in Bangalore ordering products from IKEA's website last night, there were some technical issues that seemed to have solved at the time of publishing this recommendation.
For up-to five kilos, there's a flat delivery fee of INR 299. There's a fixed delivery date at the time of checkout and all forms of online payments are accepted.
