I am a hard-core non-vegetarian but I'm always in the quest for innovative Indian food and street storyss has perfected the art of modern cooking.
To begin with, I had the orange and kaffir lime cooler which wasn't too much on the sweeter side and that was surely impressively refreshing.
To begin with I had the malai soya chaap shawarma - juicy pieces of soya chaap in a rich malai sauce wrapped in pita bread alongside some vegetables surely makes for a dish midway between the weight watchers and the indulgent foodies.
For main course, I tried the rajma ghee khichdi which was topped with khakra and there was pickled onions, green chutney and some crisp fried onions on the side - all the elements required for a dish to titillate your taste buds were present in the dish and every spoon was a dollop of comfort in the mouth with its subtle flavours that reminded me of home, the bit of ghee on the side given for you to pour into the khichdi is very thoughtful.
The portion sizes are really great and to end the meal I had the motichoor spring rolls which were authentic motichoor laddoos stuffed inside dilo pastry spring rolls and topped with a garnish of gulkhand and some custard.
Overall, it was a very delightful meal and I can't wait to go back. Chef Tarun Sibal's expertise on the festive menu too is worth the shot and the commendable hygiene at the outlet makes it a must visit!
