But, you can definitely indulge indoors with a little or a lot of help by local service, Indulge. Started by Ayesha and Violeta during the Covid-19 lockdown period, Indulge nails the essence of easy entertaining indoors with their gourmet curated food experiences. We were certainly gobsmacked when we came across the lavish, larger-than-life shared platters and charcuterie boards on their Instagram.
They offer three services: Catering; for intimate gatherings of 4 to 20 guests where professional chefs whip up meals in your own kitchen. The menu is customisable and servers and bartenders will be provided on request for this. Personal Chefs; opt for this to experience the ultimate at home indulgence and have a chef prepare a made-to-order menu for you and your family while you relax and celebrate milestones! Lastly, and our favourite the Charcuterie Platters; these are piled high with cured meats, seafood, cheeses, crackers, fruits, nuts and the works.
You get to choose from curated selections or build your own with a charcuterie board. But this is the hard bit because you have choices like a delectable Seven Cheese Platter, and Italian Antipasto to a Seafood Smorgasbord and Pate or Dessert Platter. These feasts are served on reusable wooden boards with glass bowls to ensure zero waste and sustainability. Orders can be placed one day in advance and are customisable as per dietary and flavour profiles.
