Love Is In The Hair: Head To This Salon To Keep Your Hair Frizz-Free This Season
Hair woes, begone. French salon Jean-Claude Biguine has been the go-to for beautiful hair colours and treatments. We decided to go to their Lavelle Road salon to do something about our unruly hair and get the 411 on the place.
What Makes It Awesome
If you struggle to take care of your mane as we do, we point you to Jean-Claude Biguine. The salon is bright and airy, and we were immediately made to feel welcome. In fact, we were even offered a refreshing cup of tea as we described our hair woes. The hairdresser then photographed our scalp with this special Kerastase camera and recommended the best treatment for our hair type and condition.
In our case, we were recommended the QOD Max keratin treatment. Not only is it meant to make your hair smoother and softer, but it'll also leave it frizz-free. What more can one ask for this monsoon season? The process takes about 2.5 hours and you'll have to sit through a hair wash, serum application, and hair straightening. Best take your earphones along. Bear in mind that you'll have poker-straight, slick hair until the next day (that's until your second wash), so we'd recommend getting all this done during the weekend!
After the second wash, your hair will slowly start taking its natural form, minus all the frizz. Personally, we found that our usually tight curls transformed into a sort of beach wave-like curl. The hairdresser said that this will last about 3-4 months, and that with every successive wash, your hair will start going back to the way it was. Overall, the treatment costs INR 5,000 (plus taxes), and the offer is running until July 20.
In case you're considering getting your hair coloured, they have an offer going on for highlights (INR 5,000 plus taxes) as well as global colouring (INR 3,500).
