KK Momos, a busy stand near Richard’s Park, is a slice of heaven for momo lovers. Their chicken cheese, paneer, and mushroom momos paired with seven different sauces makes for a killer evening snack.

Momo Love

Located right next to Clarence High School {near Ente Keralam}, KK Momos is a legend. The humble stand {open after 5 pm every evening} sees a steady stream of customers who love the sheer variety and the quality of the little dumplings. Considering the awesome weather Bangalore is experiencing these days, a stop by KK Momos will make you very happy, for sure.

The stall lists quite a few varieties — mutton, chicken, chicken cheese, paneer, mushroom, and vegetarian. However, this is more like a rotating menu and you’ll have to land up there and find out the specials of the day. If you’d like to your plate of momos to come with a bit of crunch, you can also ask for fried versions of these momos. Prices start at about INR 70.

Awesome Sauce

What we love best about this tiny stall is that they sure know their flavours well and get them bang on. The Chicken Cheese, for example, may sound like an odd combination to you {in a momo, we mean}. But the gooey cheese with bits of lightly spiced meat will change your mind. We also loved the Fried Paneer Momos, the filling was creamy and the crunch on the momo gave the dish different textures.

Of course, a momo is only half as good as the sauce it comes with. And at KK Momos, you get seven different kinds! There’s the tried and tested spicy one but we highly recommend the Orange Sweet Sauce {it’s sweet and has just a hint of spice}, the ginger one {it’s got a lovely, herby kick to it}, and also the cheesy one {silken and creamy}.
