This Homegrown Brand Is All About Reviving Dying Art & Giving Back To Artisans

Kaisori is a homegrown brand from Namma Bengaluru that makes jewellery, sarees and dupattas. Mainly working with artisans, this is a way for them to give back to society.

What Makes It Awesome

Kaisori is a brand that is all about handmade products. Apparel, accessories, shoes, jewellery and home decor -- they work with about 50 odd groups of artisans to grow and support them. A slow fashion label, Kaisori focuses on building a lifestyle that makes art part of your daily life, in what you wear and use.

Discover jewellery, and decor with modern twists like Jaipur and Toda silver jewellery, Blue Pottery, wood block and Meenakari craft forms featuring designs of leaves and keys. Shoes and Kolhapuri slippers are woven in leather and textiles in bright pink, green, blue, and brown. The range of sarees are handcrafted and embellished with embroidery patterns and printing techniques from across India to create the perfect ethnic ensemble.

The brand makes home decor and linens like cushion covers in indigo stripes and cotton chevron and Rajasthan black Kutch work carpets. The bath and body care section has handmade soaps that are made from natural ingredients. The packaging style is commissioned to local miniature painting artists inspired by the Chitrashala in the Bundi fort as an effort to revive this dying art. Even their laptop bags are made sustainably and coloured with natural dyes. Starting at INR 600, check out their website to know more and to order from them!

In case you want to check out their stuff in person, Kaisori has some merchandise on shelves of Go Native in HSR Layout and Jayanagar.
