What Makes It Awesome

Kaisori is a homegrown brand from Namma Bengaluru that makes jewellery, sarees, and dupattas. Mainly working with artisans, this is a way for them to give back to society. Kaisori is a brand that is all about handmade products. Apparel, accessories, shoes, jewellery and home decor - they work with about 50 odd groups of artisans to grow and support them. A slow fashion label, Kaisori focuses on building a lifestyle that makes art part of your daily life, in what you wear and use.

We love their jewellery, and decor with modern twists like Jaipur and Toda silver jewellery, Blue Pottery, woodblock, and Meenakari craft forms featuring designs of leaves and keys. We picked shoes and Kolhapuri slippers that are woven in leather and textiles in bright pink, green, blue, and brown. Their range of sarees are handcrafted and embellished with embroidery patterns and printing techniques from across India to create the perfect ethnic ensemble that wowed us.

Kaisori makes home decor and linens like cushion covers in indigo stripes and cotton chevron and Rajasthan black Kutch work carpets that we love, to create cozy corners in our homes. The bath and body care section has handmade soaps that are made from natural ingredients to pamper the skin. And how beautiful is the packaging style commissioned to local miniature painting artists inspired by the Chitrashala in the Bundi fort as an effort to revive this dying art? Even their laptop bags are made sustainably and coloured with natural dyes.
