Kayees Biriyani is a legend.. Apparently the owner of this place is the reason Biriyani as a dish became available for the masses.. Until he started this shop, biriyani was a dish only made for royalty and on very special occasions..
This place is no frills and only good food.. The biriyani literally melts in your mouth.. We only tried the chicken biriyani as the mutton biriyani was over by the time we arrived for lunch..
It's always packed.. so please come prepared to wait.. But trust me the food is worth the wait.. They open for lunch and then in the evening around 5.. but the food gets over in less than 2 hours!!
