Looking to start to your day with nature then head to Kukkarahalli lake located at the heart of Mysore. It's open every day morning and evening. It's a great place to rejuvenate yourself. Watch the sunrise and the sunset. The lake has a park, a kid's playground and there is a 4.5 to 5 km walkway on the periphery of the lake with shaded stone benches for visitors to sit, relax and enjoy the scenic serenity of the lake. The lake also has a number of seasonal migratory birds. If you do happen to visit the lake in the evening, then I suggest making a stop at the fish restaurant, the prices start at INR 70 onward.
