Men, We Found A Store Just Off Comm Street That Stocks Up On Kurtas, Sherwanis & Pathan Suits

We like how the store is named Kurta Planet because it does justice to the name with its extended collection of wedding-ready sherwanis and ethnic wear.

Located on the corner of Ebrahim Sahib Street {you can Google Map the store}, you could say that this store is almost just like any other store that dots the lanes of Commercial Street. But then again, when you have a collection that makes you spend quite some time checking out, you know you have got yourself a store to put on speed dial. Kurtas, kurta-pyjamas, sherwanis, Pathan suits, pyjamas of styles such as pant, Pathan, churidar, and dhotis, and jackets and waistcoats are what these guys stock up on. Their kurta collection is available in short, medium and full-length options while their sherwanis range from simple to grandiose. Oh, and lest we forget, they have a collection of men’s dupattas as well.

Now, their collection of white kurtas had us seeing only white for a while — it’s quite a collection of just one colour, mind you. We didn’t snoop around the sherwanis much, mainly because they were all neatly packed and tucked away on the racks. But we can tell you the ones on display were enough to impress us. Oh, and we love the collection of Pathan suits and we know what we need to get for our next ethnic day at the office.

In terms of pricing, the kurtas start around INR 800 while the simplest of sherwanis are around INR 2,000. Jackets start at INR 800 while the average price of pyjamas is roughly INR 600. There’s no use bargaining here, but they might throw in a discount if you are lucky {and persist ever so lightly}.
