Learn four tying and dyeing techniques from Shivani Thakkar Shah of Hue Coast, a brand that specialises in home decor and linen, with an emphasis on traditional with a modern twist. You will learn the four techniques, first how to tie the fabric and the how to dye it. Apart from the actual technique, learn a bit more about the history, relevance and the kinds of fabrics you can use to tie and dye. The basics of Shibori (folding and binding, how to make a dye bath and most interestingly, how to make colour from waste and kitchen ingredients. Shivani will also take you through how to fix the colours on fabric so the next time you wash the fabric the colour isn't all washed out!
