A Denim Fair
It’s no secret that men’s wardrobes are built on jeans. And why wouldn’t they be, given that a perfect pair of jeans can be dressed up or down, and pretty much worn to any event. So imagine our joy when we found a fair that stocks on all kinds of jeans — from the skinny fits for all you lanky lads to those regular fits that just about fit everyone. And our feelings for the collection that include all-American king of denim, Levi’s to Massimo Dutti can be summed up in two words — denim wonderland.
It’s a wonderland for jeans, yes, but don’t expect a retail store outlook to the place. Just long tables that are piled with jeans, of every size and fit, to a point of them tipping over and making a huge mess. Luckily, the store assistants who are either lazing away or playing Candy Crush {this still exists?} on their phones are just a shout away to assist you. Sizes start at 30 and go all the way to 44 while prices start at INR 499 upwards.
Adding To The Cart
The collection is all fast fashion jeans so high waist, skinny fits, low rise, tapered, slim fits, and loose are all in stock. Fans of Levi’s, we spotted 501s and 513s and if you are looking to score them for a steal, you can do so with pairs available at INR 999 or either half the MRP on the tag. Black, blue, light blue, and shades of grey are the colour options available, so don’t even think about having too many jeans. United Colors of Benetton {UCB}, Lee, Wrangler, and Zara Men are other brands in stock and we spotted quite a lot of those stretch-type jeans from UCB and Wrangler.
It’s located just 10 minutes away from the Rajajinagar Metro Station {near Swathi Restaurant}, and although the store doesn’t have an official name, look for the bright red board that reads ‘My Looks’. The store also stocks up on a whole lot of apparel for both men and women. Although the shirts, trousers, and t-shirts looked stylish and trendy, they had their labels cut off, giving us the impression that the stock is more export rejects than export surplus.
