Lono, a wonderful place!! Just not citing the ambience but the food served here is fantastic too. Had been here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. The peaceful and cosy ambience with fancy tables, studded with mini fountains and indoor swings. Starting from the cocktails to the dessert, everything was perfect.
Coming to the Food,
Starters:
Fiery Steam Fish: A tender fish being steamed and seasoned with spices and grated veggies. A good one
Jalapeno Nuggets: Those crispy nuggets, with mozzarella melted and a tinge of Jalapeno. Wonderful for vegetarians. A little more melting of Mozzarella is needed
Lamb Sheekh Kebab: Can't say authentic, but met the standards.
Malai Kebab: Tender and fresh chicken, marinated with malai, if this is good in a restaurant, everything will be good. Hence this was fantastic.
Live Counter:
Grilled Mushroom: Green chilli and spinach marinated in mushrooms, barbequed when ordered. This is something which I liked. Mushrooms were soft and juicy. This was a fantastic dish.
Herb and Butter Chicken: Italian herbs infused chicken and grilled. They could improve on the proportions of spice mixes and hence can be improved.
Caribbean Stir Fried Chicken: This was good, not my preference though.
Veg Delight Pizza: The classic regular pizza, with a thin crust.
Desserts:
Apple Pie: The lemon infused Apple. The pie was baked in perfection. The apple and lemon went great. Raw Apples were used to garnish and the dessert was very well presented. This is something awesome.
