We were in Bangalore for a training and had gone out for a stroll. As we had explored many of the areas before we went a different way tonight and found ourselves in front of a building which made noise like a printing press, but the machine that we saw from the street, looked like no printing press machine. We moved ahead discussing among ourselves about what it did and came upon many other rooms in buildings having the same machinery and having the same sound. Breaking the language barrier, we enquired and came to know that these are saree manufacturing units. They use Viscose rayon fabric to create sarees which look like silk but unlike that are much more affordable. We visited many other such mills where some of them agreed to sell individual pieces whereas some refused.
Did You Know You Can Buy Low-Cost Silk-Like Saris Straight From The Mill In Bangalore?
What Makes It Awesome
What's My Pro Tip?
The price starts for ₹1400 but you can use your charms to get some discount. And it would be better take someone local if you are from outside Karnataka, only so that you are much more comfortable in interacting with them.
Anything Else?
You can contact Mr. Ravi (+91 99863 93352) for a quick visit to the mill, which is interesting enough to know how it is manufactured and also to arrange for your purchase
