If you need ethnic wear that are airy, cheery, and comfortable, hit up Lucknowi Chikan Centre’s collection of colourful chikankari kurtis. These cotton kurtis, available in colours such as red, blue, yellow and pink, feature plenty of floral patterns and motifs. And the best part is, since the prices start INR 350, it’s likely to be within budget for most. Yup, even college kids going by their pocket money trends! We spotted designs such as filigreed leaves to trellised paisleys on these everyday wear kurtis.

We like that they do not feature any excessive embroidery, mirror or beadwork or any sort of embellishments. Just simple designs, long or short ones, with either half sleeves or 3/4th sleeves. But we’re very impressed by the collars here. Usually, Lucknowi kurtis feature round necks, but this store has everything from side shirt and Mandarin necks to to sailor and flat collars, they have it all.
