Spend Your Time Kayaking At The Malabar River Festival in Kozhikode!

Malabar River Festival is a series of international kayaking race series that will bring together the best white water athletes. The festival has a variety of races like the Extreme Race, Boater Cross and Giant Slalom. South India’s only extreme adventure competition organised by a state government (Kerala Tourism), the competition will feature beginners, intermediate and professional kayakers. Take the weekend off to travel and get your dose of nature!

Thusharagiri Falls is a waterfall located in Kozhikode district of Kerala. The waterfall creates a snowy spray, which gives it the name translating to the snow-capped mountain. 

The festival is only open to folks who are competing -- so if you’re just going to watch and not partake, make sure you have other things to do as well.
