For Bangaloreans, Milano Ice Cream is a rite of passage. But this isn't about Milano Bangalore, but the OG Milano. Milano Ice Cream in Kochi opened up in 2015 and ever since then this writer has heard almost every single cousin, friend, neighbour, and even random stranger met at some distant relatives' wedding how Milano is a must-visit when in Ernakulam. If you are a Bangalorean visiting Kochi, then obviously you need to make a pit stop here. Even if you are not a Bangalorean, you still should because the gelato here is as good as what you get in Italy. Or maybe a tad bit better. Yes, we are biased.
The quaint parlour will serve you scoops of flavoured gelato ranging from strawberry to Lindt chocolate. And if you pick up a cone, they'll even shape it like a flower. Oh yes, we're in for the dramatics and the fresh flavours. Since the flavours are seasonal and based on ingredients, we really can't recommend you anything particular but if they have flavours like strawberry, blueberry, and Belgian chocolate definitely try them out.
