Picnics in the park are so passé. How about movies in the park? Well, the Sunset Cinema Club is organising just that with their Movies In The Park event, which is a three-day outdoor film festival happening at The Farm House. Screening some of our favourite flicks, watch classics like E.T, Top Gun and When Harry Met Sally, at The Farm House, a quaint little bar and grill in Whitefield. Sit at their tables or perch yourself on their lawns and watch these Hollywood faves with your squad. A picnic and a movie sounds like a great time.

If you love to Netflix and chill, but at the same time wish you spent more time outdoors, this is the event for you. Roll a picnic, a good movie and quality time with your friends together and that’s what lies in store at the Movies In The Park festival. Come for one screening or all three.
Why Should I Go For It?
You’ve been to film festivals before but none like this we’re sure. The three-day long experience, it’ll be quite surreal to watch Harry and Sally walk down the park when you’re in one yourself and see E.T. fly across the sky when you’re right under the stars. This festival seems like it’ll be most fun if you’re in a big group, so round up the whole squad and head to Whitefield. Or this could be an extra special date night with a movie and an evening picnic.
There’ll be all kinds of bites on offer to munch on during the movie and beer and cocktails to sip on too. Just sit back and enjoy these films and make sure no one sees you cry when E.T. goes back home.
