Chocolatier Mubeena Sharriff’s cosy little chocolate cafe in Whitefield is every chocoholic’s dream come true. With a display case full of decadent chocolates waiting to be devoured, this is where you should head to tend to that sweet tooth.

Chocoholics Anonymous

In a world of commercialised chocolate bars, rich and luscious chocolate is in a league of it’s own. So if you have a taste for the finer things in life, Mubeena Shariff’s choco heaven is where you need to head to. With chocolates in classic flavours like praline and caramel on display, they experiment with unconventional flavours as well like fennel, chilli and matcha.  We were big fans of her raspberry filled variety as the tartiness of the fruit balanced out the sweetness of the chocolate. And you can buy these in pre-packed boxes that make for the perfect gift. Prices start at INR 120 for a box of two. Mubeena claims to pair her fine culinary technique and skill with only the freshest of ingredients, be it her cacao to her creams and essences, which makes her chocolates the real deal. And once you’ve tried the real thing, a stick of Kit-Kat isn’t gonna cut it anymore.

Talking Sweet

The cute little chocolate cafe on Hagadur Main Road in Whitefield is easy to spot with it’s yellow walls and it’s old worldy wooden shop sign. With a door bell at it’s entrance, a single buzz will bring someone to assist you in your quest for fine chocolate and take you through their selection of sugary masterpieces that tastes just as lovely as they look. After studying at the French Culinary Institute in New York City and working with the who’s-who of the chocolate industry, Mubeena had decided to bring her fine culinary skills to our fair city and we are ever so grateful. Prices start at INR 500 for a pack of six. And they also sell cookies, brownies and slices of chocolate cake here. Prices for those start at INR 70.

Quiche On Demand

Apart from sweet sweet chocolate, Mubeena serves up some savoury quiches too. With Caramelised Onion Quiche and Quiche Lorraine on offer, we’re drooling already. However, Mubeena only makes quiches on order as they need to be eaten hot and fresh to truly enjoy. A small quiche that serves one will cost around INR 250, while the bigger size will serve around 4 to 6 people is for INR 850. She also makes tarts on order, from salted caramel to lemon, in two sizes at the same rates. So get in touch with them via Facebook here or give them a call at +91 97408 46911.
